The MRO Coordinator plays a critical role in Red’s All Natural maintenance and plant operations, focusing on the accurate and timely ordering of maintenance and operations parts and supplies, as well as the creation and tracking of work orders and assisting with mechanics’ schedules. This role partners with coordinators in other departments to ensure the production plant has the supplies and services needed for efficient operation.

Additionally, this position serves as the NetSuite Power User and point of contact for the maintenance department. Responsibilities include maintaining parts inventory accuracy, setting min/max limits for critical spare parts, and coordinating maintenance staff schedules to optimize labor for PMs, standard, and emergency work orders. The MRO Coordinator also organizes and manages preventative maintenance schedules for the kitchen, tortilla room, and plant production lines to ensure reliability and production schedule attainment.

This role produces and maintains work orders executed by the maintenance department, tracks KPIs, and maintains data used to measure maintenance effectiveness. The ideal candidate will help deliver high equipment reliability with minimal downtime and thrive in a collaborative environment with operations and supply chain teams.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the plant Maintenance team with Supply Chain and Operations to communicate the Maintenance/PM schedule; highlight potential parts shortages or production interruptions.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Scheduling to review weekly production schedules and verify parts availability and optimal timing for maintenance activities.
  • Serve as the point of contact for plant purchasing of regularly ordered operations supplies and items to ensure smooth plant efficiencies.
  • Work with the Director of Engineering & Maintenance and Plant Maintenance Manager to develop and maintain a cohesive ordering and inventory system for spare parts and fabrication components.
  • Review Purchase Orders for accuracy and correct errors promptly; receive items against POs in the system upon arrival.
  • Participate in periodic forecasting and meetings with sales, marketing, and related departments.
  • Address questions, concerns, and complaints throughout purchasing and maintenance scheduling processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • BA or BS degree in Maintenance, Supply Chain Management, Business, or Economics with 3+ years of food/beverage procurement experience preferred (or equivalent 5+ years of related industry experience).
