Maintenance & Reliability Leader
How You’ll Make an Impact
As a Site Maintenance & Reliability Leader, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, driving the development and implementation of a comprehensive Maintenance / Reliability / Turnaround Strategy including functional goals and a financial plan by using the full breadth of maintenance, reliability, and turnaround work processes, best practices, tools, and effective leveraging of resources. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing, and enhance modern life.
In This Role, You Will
- Lead all maintenance and reliability resources within the plant.
- Develop the annual and 3-year maintenance budget plans consistent with the maintenance / reliability strategy and objectives including the next two turnaround cycles for investment.
- Meet annual goals, objectives, and KPI improvements, including maintenance & turnaround costs and asset reliability.
- Lead and Manage maintenance and reliability personnel in the goal setting processes.
- Set and maintain clear roles, competencies and experience necessary to support process elements for maintenance with organizational integration to Reliability Operations, EH&S, etc.
- Drive a culture that everyone has a role in reliability and maintenance improvement.
- Accountable for the safety, productivity, quality and overall effectiveness of the maintenance and reliability workforce.
- Promotes environment that allows team and individual empowerment to grow and flourish.
- Model expected behaviors for an empowered organization.
- Ensure the maintenance and reliability discipline and standards are in place to produce quality products and meet customer needs.
- Provide administrative leadership to plant personnel on role expectations, compensation and personal development.
- Champions use of Management of Change (MOC) process for changes, modifications, deletions to equipment, materials, parts, and related maintenance and reliability.
Required Qualifications that Enable Your Success
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical or related discipline) from an ABET accredited program.
- 5+ years leadership experience leading/managing cross-functional teams
- Experience within a chemical plant in an engineering, maintenance, or reliability engineering role.
- Detailed knowledge of maintenance work process (planning, scheduling, logistics, etc)
- Detailed knowledge of reliability strategies and work processes.
Preferred Qualifications that Drive you Forward
- Advanced degree in Engineering
- Broad based experience in a variety of chemical plant organizational areas( Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Reliability, etc)
- Successful completion of a leadership development training program
- Experience with applicable building codes with a NFPA-NEC, API, or ASME certification.
- Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
- Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP)
