Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and guidance for maintenance activities to drive plant reliability.
- Analyze equipment performance data, identify bad actors, and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and oversee preventive maintenance (PM) and mechanical integrity programs.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) sessions and reliability improvement initiatives.
- Track key performance indicators such as Mean Time Between Repair (MTBR).
- Manage and promote compliance with ISO 9000 and the company’s 20 Principles Safety Program.
- Participate in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Incident Investigations, and Management of Change (MOC) reviews.
- Oversee site inspections and ensure adherence to planned maintenance schedules.
- Cook up coordination with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain plant operations.
- Manage small capital projects up to $150K and contribute to cost reduction efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of process equipment, including pumps, compressors, piping, vessels, exchangers, and relief valves.
- Experience with reliability methodologies, mechanical integrity programs, and maintenance best practices.
- Ability to analyze data, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement cost-effective solutions.
- PREFERRED: Experience with SAP and other maintenance management systems.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
