The Maintenance Procurement Coordinator, AM, Industrial Maint., based in Boynton, plays a crucial part in ensuring efficient operations and inventory management within the industrial maintenance department at Publix Super Markets, Inc.
Responsibilities
- Manage procurement processes for industrial maintenance supplies and equipment
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality products
- Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
- Support the continuous improvement initiatives in the department
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
- Strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices and industry standards
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience with ERP systems and project management tools is a plus
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles is beneficial
