Responsibilities

- Designed and improved manufacturing processes, tooling, and assembly systems to increase productivity and reduce waste.
- Troubleshooted manufacturing, assembly, and equipment issues to minimize downtime and improve process reliability.
- Applied mechanical engineering principles to optimize production processes, equipment performance, and manufacturing efficiency.
- Utilized Lean Six Sigma methodologies, engineering standards, and statistical data analysis to identify process improvements and ensure compliance with quality requirements.
- Captured, analyzed, and reported production metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives and support data-driven decision-making.
- Served as the primary technical point of contact for equipment vendors, coordinating installations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance improvements.
- Developed and implemented process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures to support consistent manufacturing operations.
- Collaborated with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Engineering to implement process improvements and resolve manufacturing challenges.
- Supported new equipment commissioning, validation, and production start-ups to ensure successful implementation.
- Improved tooling efficiency, reduced cycle times, and increased overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensured compliance with workplace safety standards by identifying hazards, reporting unsafe conditions, and partnering with HSE teams to implement corrective actions.
- Promoted a culture of safety by utilizing established safety systems and contributing to accident-free manufacturing operations.
- Led root cause analysis and corrective actions using structured problem-solving methodologies to eliminate recurring production issues.
- Evaluated manufacturing equipment performance and recommended process enhancements to improve throughput, quality, and cost efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Electrical engineering/Mechanical/Industrial preferred) with minimum 2 years experience.
- Master’s degree in engineering fields preferred.
