About the role
Bowie Independent School District is seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to join our Maintenance Department.
Responsibilities
- Work 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday
- Perform HVAC, electrical, and general facility maintenance
- Work well as a team player and independently while following instructions
- Respond to emergency call-ins, including during severe weather and other emergency situations
- Maintain basic familiarity with computers, smartphones, and workplace apps
- Be willing to work overtime when needed
Requirements
- Background and experience in HVAC, electrical, and general facility maintenance
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Punctuality and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic familiarity with computers, smartphones, and workplace apps
