Maintenance Porter - Driving

Responsibilities

• Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
• Basic Function: Involved with facility maintenance duties and customer interface. Previous experience preferred but not required.
• Other duties may include: equipment service, general housekeeping tasks, sweeping, picking up trash, painting, replacing bulbs, applying oil absorbent, submitting requests for repairs, checking safety items, operating equipment, shoveling snow, and assisting customers.
• Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as per checklists and supervisor directives.
• Ensure all areas of the facility are clean and tidy.
• Report any issues or concerns to the Facility Manager.
• Practice the Three Keys to Customer Satisfaction and follow the Five Customer Service Behaviors.
• Assist customers and resolve complaints.
• Maintain a neat and clean appearance and arrive on time for shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Facility maintenance, electrical, or painting experience and/or skills training may be required depending on the job assignment and facility.
• A valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
• Availability to work special shifts, including 3rd shift and weekends, if applicable.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, standing, and bending.
• Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and handle unexpected situations.
