About the role
You will serve as a Commanding Officer in the Fleet Readiness Center Southwest Facilities and Infrastructure Maintenance Planning Division.
Responsibilities
- Provide management and oversight of daily operations by meeting with subordinate team leaders and functional managers to ensure focus on the mission of the organization.
- Manage assignments by identifying, distributing and balancing workload among employees.
- Consult with other divisions within the FRC concerning maintenance for production machinery and plant equipment; incoming equipment and modernization projects; maintenance schedules; and miscellaneous services.
- Establish methods and manages the development, implementation and modification of applicable depot instructions and maintenance processes, procedures and desktop guides for the assigned functional areas.
- Establish and track branch and division metrics, manages the collection of supporting data for metrics of assigned functional areas, evaluates trends and reports status of key performance indicators to leadership.
- Ensure that assigned functional areas are managed against effective metrics and internal objectives to meet customer goals.
- Oversee approved revisions of long-range plans, goals and objectives of the work directed for assigned functional areas and works with the applicable branch head on the incorporation of them into the overarching vision for the division.
- Provide one-on-one instruction or training to subordinate employees in proper work methods, work documents, labor transactions and safe practices.
Pay
- Minimum Salary: $121,585
- Maximum Salary: $158,062
