About the role

REEL USA has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to support maintenance planning activities for the Final Assembly Line (FAL) located within Airbus. The role involves managing maintenance plans and related work orders, organizing them based on inspection reports, and supporting the Director and maintenance foreman through various tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Manage maintenance plans and related work orders, organizing them based on inspection reports.
  • Work in a safe manner, actively participating in REEL's safety, health, and environmental programs.
  • Attend scheduled team meetings and complete safety training requirements.
  • Ensure work areas are safe and clean.
  • Support the Director and maintenance foreman through a variety of tasks related to maintenance planning.
  • Communicate effectively through telephone and email to ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and delivered with high quality in a timely manner.
  • Prepare key performance indicators to monitor maintenance contract execution.
  • Involvement in supplier coordination, adhering to deadlines and monthly task execution within the maintenance plan.
  • Populate equipment/assets sheets in the SAP database with all relevant data.
  • Prepare monthly activity progress reports.
  • Check availability of necessary documentation for proper maintenance service execution.
  • Initiate maintenance audits in collaboration with the Quality & Environmental Health Safety (EHS) Manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or certificate in maintenance planning preferred, or equivalent experience including military.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ maintenance planning experience.
  • A proven positive safety, health, and environmental record.
  • Familiarity with personal protective equipment and hazard awareness.
  • Willingness and ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate dependability.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Calmness and effectiveness in critical situations.
  • Clear and precise understanding of projects/tasks/difficulties/time involved in each assignment.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/SAP experience would be an asset.
  • Flexibility in performing changing assignments and work schedules.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, non-exempt (eligible for overtime), with working hours from Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Based on business needs, the schedule may change. Employees should be available for overtime based on workload.
