About the role
Provides leadership in planning, scheduling, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement to bring world-class Asset Reliability and Maintenance performance and capability to the production, facility, and Maintenance organization at Perrigo's PMI site.
- Plans jobs to ensure tools and resources are available to complete work orders.
- Creates and updates job plans to maintain an accurate job library.
- Directs workflow for production and facilities using scheduled Work Orders and PM’s, providing instructions to technicians, apprentices, and contractors to ensure SOPs and safety standards are followed.
- Tracks emergency and planned work orders to ensure effective resolution and address chronic issues.
- Collaborates with facilities, engineering, and operations personnel on capital projects affecting equipment, assisting in developing PM’s, spare part inventories, training, and drawings.
- Assists with validation or quality concerns.
Requirements
- Demonstrated leadership ability, excellent communication, organizational, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail, proven accuracy, ability to multi-task, and strong customer service skills.
- High school diploma or GED; progress toward an associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Computer literacy and knowledge of SAP preferred.
- Recognized trade certification by the Department of Labor in a related field is a plus.
- 5 years of experience in operations/manufacturing, with preference for FDA-regulated/GMP environments and prior maintenance experience.
