Maintenance Planner / Scheduler
You will enjoy doing
- Develop comprehensive maintenance work packages including labor and resource requirements, cost and duration estimates, materials, parts, tools, technical documentation, safety requirements, MOC documentation, and QA/QC needs
- Manage procurement activities including requisitions, purchase orders, material reservations, vendor bidding processes, third-party service coordination, and material kitting to support maintenance execution
- Coordinate with Operations and Maintenance teams to prioritize, plan, schedule, and execute maintenance activities, ensuring equipment availability and efficient resource utilization
- Partner with maintenance leadership to manage workforce loading, maintenance backlog, and planning support for turnarounds and major maintenance events
- Facilitate daily and weekly planning meetings and support preventive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and performance
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of CMMS/EAM data, including work orders, equipment BOMs, master data, maintenance records, and backlog management
- Review, analyze, and report maintenance KPIs to identify trends, improve performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Consolidate maintenance notifications and work activities into optimized work packages to maximize efficiency, resource utilization, and execution effectiveness
What Makes You Great
- A high school diploma required; technical school training, college coursework, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Minimum five (5) years of maintenance planning experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment; applicable maintenance or skilled trade experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, scheduling, and work management processes
- Familiarity with industrial plant equipment, specifications, and maintenance planning tools
- Experience coordinating maintenance activities, resources, materials, and contractor services to support efficient work execution
- Organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic, proven reliability, and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across operations, maintenance, and leadership teams
- Proficient computer skills and experience utilizing CMMS/EAM systems and other maintenance-related software
- Passion for continuous improvement, operational excellence, and driving maintenance performance results
