Responsibilities
- Update PMs in coordination with Maintenance Technicians to ensure accuracy and the highest probability of identifying issues and preventing unplanned downtime.
- Identify all work orders that require formal planning.
- Decide if a field check is required. Perform field checks when necessary.
- Retrieve existing job plans if available or develop job steps and sequences for new work.
- Review work orders to identify special service requirements and material requirements.
- Work with the purchasing department and enter materials requests.
- Identify work orders that require permits.
- Identify repeating task opportunities, consolidate them, and enter them into Parts+ as tasks.
- Review all work orders and assign them to either the schedule or planned backlog.
- Review all job plans for accuracy and adjust as needed.
- Assist Facilities Manager and Maintenance Supervisor in prioritizing maintenance work.
- Create a weekly maintenance work schedule.
- Align with Operations Manager, Facilities Manager, and Maintenance Supervisor on weekly top priorities.
- Conduct “after-M” feedback on discoveries found during PMs and corrective work orders generated.
- Ensure scheduled work orders and OEM PMs are properly kitted.
- Track and report PM compliance.
- Track and report weekly schedule compliance.
- Support Root Cause Analysis and corrective actions.
- Manage and maintain relationships with MRO vendors and service providers.
- Process parts and material requisitions from Maintenance Technicians in a timely and accurate manner.
- Source, quote, and purchase maintenance parts, supplies, and services in accordance with company purchasing policies.
- Track MRO spending and ensure alignment with the monthly maintenance budget.
- Identify cost-savings opportunities through vendor consolidation, alternative sourcing, and negotiated pricing.
- Manage spare parts inventory, stocked, and maintained to minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and vendor records within Parts+.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory optimization, procurement, efficiency, and maintenance reliability.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, OSHA, and company safety requirements.
- Partner with Production, Engineering, Automation, and Tooling departments.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of maintenance planning or industrial maintenance experience.
- Automotive manufacturing and plastic injection molding experience preferred.
- Experience using CMMS software required.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

- Will have some exposure to loud noise, hot and cold temperatures in manufacturing plants.
