Key Accountabilities

  • Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance activities, including basic field investigation.
  • Develop bill of materials, scope of work, special installation instructions, and time schedules (including manpower requirements).
  • Solicit information from vendors and contractors for parts, equipment, and prefabrications.
  • Allocate and requisition parts, tools, materials, and equipment; verify delivery relative to scheduled installation.
  • Assemble “job boxes” containing all necessary parts, materials, and special tools for executing planned mechanical or electrical work orders, ranging from small-scale tasks to large projects.
  • Maintain safe working conditions and practices to achieve a zero lost-time injury record.
  • Perform work duties in accordance with QSHE and JTA (job task analysis) procedures; ensure compliance from consultants and contractors.
  • Utilize external resources, including vendors, engineering consultants, and contractors, for information and execution support.
  • Generate maintenance planning schedules, cost reports by plant area, preventive vs. corrective work reports, and other requested schedules.
  • Attend scheduling meetings and create project schedules for medium to large-scale maintenance outages involving multiple craft types.
  • Perform SAP data entry, including inputting documents, timelines, maintenance time, and closing work orders.
  • Generate SAP work orders and planned orders from paper “work order initiation forms,” Cimplicity work order information, etc.
  • Retrieve completed work orders, input information into SAP, reconcile parts and materials used, and close work orders after verification.

Requirements

  • Good command of both oral and written local language and English; additional languages are beneficial.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Fundamental knowledge of industrial mechanical, process, and electrical equipment, including piping, materials selection, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and power distribution.
  • Fundamental understanding of operation/maintenance of mineral processing equipment.

Skills

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with SAP preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, including reading, comprehension, listening, written, and oral communications.
  • Ability to maintain a positive work environment and actively seek collaboration in continuous improvement activities.

Pay

Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000 annually.
