About the role

This position is responsible for maintenance planning using the SAP Plant Maintenance module. The focus is on the creation and updating of planning, scheduling, and documentation, as well as managing a backlog of corrective Work Orders to maximize generation and availability.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for all planning and schedules for assigned assets and work closely with other departments within the O&M organization.

Responsibilities

  • Work in SAP PM to create and modify Maintenance Plans, Task Lists, Work Schedules, Notifications, and Maintenance Orders, along with other transactions supporting maintenance and repairs for assigned plants in the Geo/Solar/BESS O&M group, in accordance with Enel, N.A. Maintenance Processes.
  • Support the budgeting process (both Capex & Opex) by estimating labor, materials, inventory, third-party support, and duration in SAP and other programs through plans built in SAP.
  • Develop purchasing requests for budgeted and unbudgeted work.
  • Act as the primary liaison managing the maintenance process, collaborating with Site/Regional Staff, Purchasing, Contract Management, Logistics, and Technical Support to develop work plans, scheduling, and documentation for maintenance activities.
  • Assist technical teams in elaborating internal procedures or work instructions.
  • Coordinate and organize Job Packages for maintenance activities.
  • Lead planning for all assigned facilities, owning site/regional planning, including developing and maintaining detailed maintenance plans and schedules in SAP.
  • Develop and maintain weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance schedules and resource allocation needs in SAP PM and other scheduling or Project Management software.
  • Plan future maintenance work in SAP PM via Task Lists and Maintenance Plans.
  • Work with the Site Manager to ensure plans are updated as needed.
  • Interface with the Operations Efficiency team on plant performance analysis and action plans.
  • Interface with the Control Room Manager on Plant Performance, Maintenance activities, Outage Plans, and outage reporting.
  • Interface with Technical Support to facilitate procurement actions required for planning.
  • Interface with Regional Staff to promote and facilitate effective use of SAP PM in Enel, N.A. Maintenance Processes.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of related experience with knowledge of site equipment and maintenance activities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, MS Project).
  • Experience with SAP PM preferred.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and involve others in decisions when appropriate.
  • Ability to take initiative in problem-solving.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
