About the role
The Maintenance Planner plays a critical role in keeping our food warehouse and fulfillment center safe, reliable, and operating efficiently. This hands-on, proactive individual will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial kitchen equipment, warehouse systems, and facility infrastructure in a fast-paced food operations environment. You’ll partner closely with internal teams and external vendors to minimize equipment downtime, support preventive maintenance, and ensure our facility meets safety and operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and calibrations of commercial kitchen equipment, warehouse systems, and facility infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and identify root causes across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Perform timely repairs and implement long-term solutions that improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Support and execute preventive maintenance schedules to reduce unexpected equipment failures.
- Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Partner with external vendors on specialized repairs, maintenance, and equipment replacements as needed.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with company policies, safety requirements, and food safety standards.
- Proactively identify potential hazards, equipment issues, and opportunities to improve facility reliability.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Support additional facility and maintenance needs as assigned by leadership.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in maintenance, repair, or facility operations, preferably within a food production, warehouse, or fulfillment environment.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment and facility systems.
- Ability to work safely and effectively in an active warehouse and food operations environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in varied environments, including cold storage areas and elevated surfaces.

Pay
Pay range for this position: $33–$40 USD per hour. Final pay rates are determined by candidate experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and market data.
