Maintenance Planner
About the role
American Berry Company is looking for a strong maintenance professional to join our team. This person will assist the maintenance team while primarily focusing on parts procurement/inventory, vendor coordination/scheduling, preventative maintenance planning, and overall project management, as well as reporting. The ideal candidate will anticipate potential problem areas by monitoring equipment, manage critical parts, and communicate effectively with vendors and internal team members to ensure efficient coordination. They will work closely with the Maintenance Manager to troubleshoot issues and deploy strategies to improve plant reliability.
Responsibilities
- Manage records of when equipment is serviced and repairs are made
- Assign and manage maintenance tasks within the maintenance system (Fiix)
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and continually monitor equipment performance
- Schedule vendors and manage maintenance projects as needed
- Support the Maintenance Manager
- Plan and implement preventative maintenance procedures to maximize equipment operations and minimize safety risks
- Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed
- Inspect the building for damage to doors, windows, walls, and make repairs as required
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- Over 2 years of maintenance experience
- Demonstrated understanding of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
- Flexible availability for on-call maintenance requests on nights and weekends
- Strong understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques, and procedures
Pay
$80,000 - $105,000 yearly
