Coordinates and schedules aircraft maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with maintenance programs and regulatory requirements up to twelve days in advance.
Responsibilities
- Promotes and fosters a safe and secure operating environment.
- Analyzes and accurately interprets detailed aircraft maintenance due reports for each aircraft.
- Acts as the final authority for deferring individual maintenance tasks or entire aircraft maintenance visits to a maintenance facility.
- Provides direction when coworkers, maintenance supervisors, or station/departmental managers seek to defer scheduled maintenance items to maximize maintenance opportunities.
- Stationed in the Systems Operations Center (SOC), monitors daily aircraft performance and provides timely, accurate analysis and realistic solutions to inquiries from SOC personnel.
- Provides oversight and manages all scheduled maintenance events, ensuring continuous compliance with manufacturer and regulatory requirements.
- Balances labor allowances, parts, and tooling availability with maintenance program deadlines through constant diligence.
Requirements
- High level of judgment to ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures.
- High level of initiative to effectively serve the needs of Maintenance Production Personnel and Dispatch Coordinators.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years’ experience in planning and production control.
- Proficiency with PC applications and MS Office (Excel, Outlook, and OneNote).
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management/Maintenance or Applied Engineering Technology.
- Good working knowledge of aircraft maintenance programs.
- Proficiency with AS 400 software applications.
- Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Pay
$50,000 - $55,000 / year
Schedule
- 10-hour shifts (AM 0400-1400, PM 1300-2300), including holidays and weekends.
- Adjustments may be needed depending on flight schedules.
Work Environment
- Maintenance Operation Group seated within the Systems Operations Center (SOC).
- Majority of time spent at a medium activity level (sitting, walking, moving).
