About the role
This position supports Space Force Maintenance Operations tracking and management staff at Schriever SFB, CO. The MOC Analyst provides all equipment status reporting and tracking as required by the WICS II Performance Work Statement (PWS).
Responsibilities
- Provide all equipment status reporting and tracking as required by the WICS II PWS.
- Support the MOC team with tracking, logging, administrative, and documenting maintenance actions.
- Log, update and maintain maintenance actions within multiple databases as appropriate.
- Act as a liaison facilitating information flow and timelines between multiple stakeholders.
- Up-channels incident/status reporting as directed.
- Transfers problem resolution responsibility between maintenance agencies and tracks resolution status.
- Receives Mission Impact Reports, notifies maintenance personnel as required, and documents equipment status/malfunctions into MPR database.
- Enter maintenance data into IMDS for reportable systems.
- Enter maintenance data into MPR database for non-IMDS reportable systems as identified by Government.
- Assigns, tracks, and documents status for all Job Control Numbers, tracks equipment and maintenance status, request assistance from supporting agencies, coordinates maintenance and supply requests, and disseminates information.
- Maintains monitoring of power outages impacting mission operations and equipment.
- Processes Urgent Depot Level Maintenance and Emergency Depot Level Maintenance requests.
- Reviews and updates open outage data.
Requirements
- Requires a high school diploma plus technical training or aptitude in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Must be onsite at Schriever SFB, CO
- ACTIVE Secret Clearance required, ability to obtain T/S SCI clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
- Experience in Information Technology or Cybersecurity.
- Prior military experience.
Qualifications
- Five or more years of related experience in satellite and/or ground segment operations.
- Knowledge of satellite communications, earth observation missions, as well as mission operation ground infrastructure (e.g. ESOC, DLR, etc.).
Skills
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite.
- Excellent organizational, tracking, and interpersonal skills.
