Maintenance Mechanical Technician -Plant Support

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance throughout the quarry and plant.
• Perform mechanical maintenance, fabrication, assembly, welding, and cutting.
• Perform disassembly, repair, rebuild, and reassembly of mechanical equipment and machinery.
• Bearing Installation
• Millwright skills
• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance, including inspection, troubleshooting, and lubrication of equipment.
• Maintain safe work areas and operate mobile equipment as needed.
• Properly maintain baghouses functions, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, replacing bags or cartridges, replacing gauges, and replacing diaphragms.
• Work on items related to safety (safety work orders, safety suggestions) and perform tasks during scheduled down days or break ins at the plant.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1-year of experience maintaining equipment.
• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Good organizational and math skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in dusty environments and confined spaces.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
