Maintenance Mechanical Technician-3rd Shift

About the role

Sunday-Thursday 11:00 PM-7:30 AM Shift Differential 11.15%

Responsibilities

  • Checking system functionality by running diagnostic tests
  • Using power and hand tools (e.g. hosts and cranes) to install new systems and replace defective parts
  • Repairing devices/Lasers/Robotic fixtures/Paint Equipment/Assemble models/air compressors/ general facility
  • Installing complex mechanical systems
  • Assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment
  • Reading, interpreting, and following instructions and operation manuals
  • Following all Company safety rules and regulations including LOTO and wearing all required PPE
  • Accurately performing daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly preventative maintenance on plant equipment and machinery as required per established PM programs and completing required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
  • Mentoring and/or training existing and/or new maintenance employees
  • Performing any other duties as assigned or directed by Team Leader / Supervisor
  • Maintaining good housekeeping and following established safety procedures
  • Maintaining awareness of individual contribution to and impact of the quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities; reporting all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Certification or equivalent experience in mechanical field
  • 4 years’ prior maintenance experience required
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Ability to stand and/or walk, bend, stoop, or crouch for at least an 8-hour shift
  • Ability to accurately use, read, and understand various precision instruments including, but not limited to: Gauges, Meters, Basic Measurements
  • Preferred knowledge of computers, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced working environment with accuracy and integrity
  • Able to work in a team environment and interface with a diverse workforce

Qualifications

  • Current OSHA, and ANSI standards knowledge
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products

Pay

Pay Range: $34.00 USD to $39.00 USD per hour
