Maintenance Mechanic - Night Shift Hereford Plant

Overview

Join our Maintenance Dept - Hereford Facility There are a variety of roles within this title such as Mechanics of different skill levels for the maintenance technician which may include hydraulics, electronics, and welding. Maintenance technicians responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining and ensuring that the facility and its' equipment are running efficiently.

Responsibilities

- May operate heavy machinery - Use a variety of tools in order to repair, retrieve and maintain all equipment in working order - Conduct daily set-up of area and troubleshoot - Working around or with machinery and power sources such as electricity - Ensuring safety, food safety, and quality - Cleanliness and housekeeping - Maintaining a safe working environment

Qualifications

- Communication skills - read and write - Ability to perform basic math such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division - Knowledge of basic tools and maintenance related subjects - Willingness to participate on various teams such as HAZMAT - Valid Driver's License required - Previous experience preferred - willing to train right candidate - Good work history MUST BE ABLE TO WORK OVERNIGHT AND WEEKENDS.
