Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to identify and resolve equipment issues.
- Repair and replace defective machine components using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Inspect, adjust, and maintain production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Perform machine setup adjustments and support production during equipment changeovers.
- Repair and maintain End-of-Arm Tooling (EOAT) and other production equipment.
- Install and repair electrical wiring, conduit, copper piping, and PVC piping as needed.
- Use electrical testing equipment such as volt/ohm meters to diagnose equipment problems.
- Perform precision measurements using tools such as micrometers and calipers.
- Maintain preventive maintenance records and update maintenance activities in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Identify replacement parts, manage maintenance inventory, and coordinate with equipment vendors when necessary.
- Communicate equipment issues and repair status with production and maintenance teams.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
- Experience with production equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance programs.
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, and electrical test equipment.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Preferred Experience
- Plastic injection molding equipment maintenance.
- Industrial machinery repair.
- Preventive maintenance programs.
- CMMS software.
- Mechatronics and production equipment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work around industrial equipment for extended periods.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment.
- Must follow all workplace safety policies and procedures.
