Maintenance Mechanic - Industrial

Responsibilities

• Perform highly diversified duties to maintain and troubleshoot existing production machines and plant facility equipment, including occasional new equipment installations.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during or after production runs and perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Perform basic machinist duties (e.g., drilling, tapping, lapping, cut-off saw).
• Apply mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, controls, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting during equipment repair.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and schematics to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
• Handle a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
• Use hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
• Detect faulty operations, defective materials, and report issues or unusual situations to supervision.
• Comply with local safety regulations and maintain clean, orderly work areas.
