About the role
TE Connectivity's Maintenance Teams perform repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure longer lifespan of machines and facilities. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.
This is a 2nd Shift position (Mon-Thurs: 2:00 PM–12:30 AM). This position requires access to information subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.
Responsibilities
- Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by creating and completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
- Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines.
- Utilize knowledge of the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) to ensure designs comply with required safety clearances.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Adhere to OSHA regulations for industrial warehouse environments.
- Flexible to work some weekends and occasional overtime.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Electrical or Mechanical preferred.
- Minimum of 2+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical (low & high voltage), and electronic skills.
- PLC knowledge with programming skills is a plus.
- Minimum of 4 years of related work experience.
- Vocational training or an AA degree is preferred.

Pay
Competitive base salary: $52,600–$78,900 (subject to change dependent on physical location). Total compensation includes base salary, incentives, and benefits.
