MAINTENANCE MECHANIC III - 2nd Shift
Position Overview
Mechanic III position available in the South Bend plant, reporting to a Maintenance Team Manager. Shift: 2nd Shift - Monday to Friday 2:00PM - 10:30PM - Overtime required as needed to include weekend work.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting and repairs
- Machine adjustments with tools
- Minor fabrication of parts
- Electrical troubleshooting and repairs
- Read schematics and blueprints
- Preventive maintenance
- Product changeover
- Implement ideas to improve line efficiencies
- Quality checks
Required Qualifications
- At least three (3) years industrial maintenance experience
- The ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
- Very detail oriented and strong interpersonal, communication, and team-based skills
- A self-starter and problem-solver
