What You Will Be Doing Troubleshoots, repairs and adjusts equipment as neededPerforms equipment changeovers according to production demandsProvides preventative maintenance to plant equipmentRebuilds presses and support equipmentEvaluates/maintains hand tools for condition and complianceFamiliar with Mechanical Prints, knowledge of motors and controls, troubleshooting skillsPLC programming is a plusAbility to use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safelyContinuous improvement of skills as outlined by the maintenance training matrixEffective communication skills including the ability to receive and follow direction and provide feedback as requested, as well as with other maintenance employeesWorks cooperatively with teammates as a natural work teamWork schedule is 40-48 hours/week plus overtime requirementsCarry out additional duties as requested by supervisorAccurate documentation of maintenance records using CMMS System We’d Love To Hear From You If Possess mechanical, machinist, or electrical backgroundAbility to lift 10-50#, often carrying up to 20#Bending, twisting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and reaching frequently At Sonoco Products Company, we offer a comprehensive total rewards package, including competitive pay and benefits. *Benefits listed below are for employees located in the U.S. Specific benefits and wellbeing programs may vary depending on your location (within the U.S. or global), or if you are a union employee.
