Maintenance Mechanic - HFD

Overview

There are a variety of roles within this title such as Maintenance Teck with different skill levels such as plant harvest and fab mechanics, welders, electricians, yard maintenance and truck shop maintenance. To insure that the plant and all its equipment run efficiently to insure no down time.

Responsibilities

• May operate heavy machinery
• Use a variety of tools in order to repair, retrieve and maintain all equipment in working order
• Conduct daily set-up of area and troubleshoot
• Working around or with machinery and power sources such as electricity
• Ensuring safety, food safety and quality
• Cleanliness and housekeeping
• Maintaining a safe working environment

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate
• Ability to perform basic math such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Knowledge of basic tools and maintenance related subjects
• Must have good stable work history
• Willingness to participate on various teams such as HAZMAT
• Must be able work in different environments - cold, hot, wet, humid
