Maintenance Mechanic

About the role

Taconic, a global leader in the manufacturing of PTFE coated fiberglass fabric, belts, tapes and laminates, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for their corporate office in Petersburgh, NY.

Responsibilities

• Keep production machines, tools, equipment, and utility systems in operating condition.
• Determine causes of operating errors and develop appropriate resolution.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics is essential.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including power and hand tools is required.
• Maintain a valid drivers license, possess good interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritize based on changing work conditions.

Requirements

• Associates degree in mechanical maintenance or related field, or four years of equivalent experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment.
• Valid drivers license.

Qualifications

• Must be able to determine causes of operating errors and develop appropriate resolution.

Skills

• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including power and hand tools.

Pay

\$58,240 - \$66,560/year

Schedule

Positions are available on 2nd shift.
