Maintenance Mechanic

About the Role

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical and preventative tasks, as well as inspections, services, repairs, and overhauls on hospital equipment as directed.
• Install all new equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with manufacturer’s specifications, applicable codes, regulations, and hospital safety policies.
• Coordinate and inspect projects to meet quality standards, approved timelines, and compliance with city/state codes and JACHO.
• Carry out routine and specific assignments to ensure the physical plant and assigned equipment are in safe operating condition and comply with hospital policies, regulatory, and accrediting codes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance, repair, and safety procedures.
