Maintenance Mechanic

Job Summary

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the repair and maintenance of all mechanic equipment in the facilities in a timely manner. Must maintain a safe and clean work environment by following all TUI safety procedures and PPE requirements. The individual must act professional and respectful at all times.

Qualifications

• Be able to access all areas of machines and support equipment along with all areas of the facilities.
• Maintain speed and precision to meet deadlines.
• Keep work area clean and pick up job site after all work is complete.
• Complete preventive maintenance on all equipment as assigned.
• Have knowledge of all hand tools and power tools needed to complete task assigned while using them in a safe manner.
• Able to use construction equipment and tools in a safe manner.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting, check voltage and amperage on motors and pumps.
• Able to use oxy/acetylene equipment for cutting and brazing.
• Able to remove and replace pumps, motors, chemical pumps, well meters, and process meters and valves.
• Able to do basic carpentry work and assist with facility rehab work that involves roofing, siding, window, doors and painting.
• Have knowledge and use of computer skills, including word, excel and outlook, be able to use WAM system efficiently.
