Responsibilities
- Performs maintenance skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and or hydraulic troubleshooting.
- Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment and performs scheduled maintenance repairs.
- Replaces electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors.
- Ability to handle complex repairs with minimal supervision, with an ability to train others.
- Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all equipment from blueprints, technical manuals, or vendor specifications.
- Maintain maintenance documentation, maintenance history, and all other appropriate documentation for all projects and corporate equipment repairs.
Qualifications
- Hospital maintenance experience required (3+ years preferred)
- Hospital life safety experience required including regulatory documents
- Experience with HVAC, building, equipment and utility maintenance
- Ability to provide maintenance responsibilities and the use of power and hand tools
- Experience with all building trades preferred (Drywall Repair/Painting Included)
- Electrical proficiency preferred
- Must be able to speak, write and understand English and be a self-starter
- High School Degree or equivalent
- Demonstrated competency in skill area as indicated by verifiable training and/or experience
- Must be 21 years old
