Maintenance Mechanic
Maintenance
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance checks on building systems, including HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, electrical panels, and fire safety equipment.
Perform scheduled lubrication and filter changes on machinery.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all manufacturing equipment and vacuum system to ensure optimal production efficiency and uptime.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues, diagnose root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Conduct preventative maintenance tasks according to established schedules, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspections.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals to understand equipment operation and repair procedures.
Maintenance and Repair
Disassemble and reassemble machinery to access components for repair.
Replace worn or damaged parts, including bearings, belts, gears, and seals.
Perform adjustments and alignments on machinery to ensure proper functionality.
Repair and maintain pneumatic, electrical systems as needed.
Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and other building components.
Perform minor repairs including fixing leaky faucets, replacing light bulbs, repairing minor electrical issues, patching drywall, and fixing minor carpentry issues.
Respond to maintenance work orders and complete repairs promptly.
Preventative Maintenance
Follow established preventative maintenance schedules to proactively address potential issues.
Carry out routine inspections of machinery for wear and tear, potential hazards, and lubrication levels.
Maintain detailed maintenance records and reports.
Troubleshooting
Identify and diagnose mechanical issues by analyzing symptoms, sounds, and operational data.
Use troubleshooting techniques to isolate problems and determine necessary repairs.
Safety Compliance
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while working on machinery.
Report any safety concerns or hazards immediately.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a manufacturing mechanic or related role.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
Basic understanding of electrical, vacuum, and pneumatic systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Demands
Ability to lift heavy objects, bend, climb, and stand for extended periods.
Manual dexterity to handle small parts and tools.
Knowledge of basic vacuum system, plumbing, HVAC, and electricity.
Pay and Schedule
Salary range: $70K - $80K based on experience.
100% on-site role.
