Maintenance Mechanic
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues and conduct repairs on equipment
- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs
- Respond quickly to equipment malfunctions and production downtime
Requirements
- Communicate verbally and in writing to effectively transmit job information to others
- Be in good general health and medically certifiable to wear respiratory protection equipment
- Physically able to perform job duties
- Possess ability to observe, record, and analyze shipping and receiving information and decide proper course of action
- Demonstrate the ability to operate a fork lift
- Demonstrate the ability to move drums on and off pallets
- Have good general knowledge in computer use
- Pass a test on shipping hazardous materials
