Maintenance Mechanic

The Role at a glance

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician in Sacramento, CA. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that the food manufacturing equipment is running smoothly. This position will help maintain refrigeration and A/C equipment and perform repairs and maintenance as needed.

What you will be doing

• Servicing and repairing of the production line, and cooking equipment.
• Assisting in maintaining refrigeration and A/C equipment, when necessary.
• Attending all safety training classes. Assist in equipment use training.
• May be asked to perform non-maintenance-related tasks throughout the facility.
• General repairs and maintenance, to keep the facility in a clean safe condition.
• Performing and documenting preventative maintenance on all equipment.
• Update and maintain equipment list and repairs
• Sanitizing air conditioning unit.
• Responsible for removing the buildup of ice on the freezer floors as needed.

What we are looking for

• Training and experience in Refrigeration, Electrical, and General Maintenance
• Two years’ experience in Refrigeration, Electrical, and General Maintenance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Must be able to work in freezer and cold environment for extended periods of time.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Computer knowledge and skills helpful.

Pay

$31 -$33 /hr. DOE
