Maintenance Mechanic

About the role

The Facilities Custodian position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in assigned facilities. The role includes tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and cleaning restrooms. The incumbent must also ensure that all equipment and supplies are properly maintained and accounted for.

The Handyman position involves performing various maintenance tasks including but not limited to plumbing repairs, electrical work, painting, and carpentry. This role requires a strong understanding of basic construction techniques and tools.

The Service Coordinator position oversees the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring that all services are provided efficiently and effectively. This role involves managing staff schedules, coordinating with vendors, and providing customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks in assigned facilities
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in assigned areas
• Ensure proper maintenance and inventory of equipment and supplies
• Conduct plumbing repairs, electrical work, painting, and carpentry as needed
• Oversee daily operations, manage staff schedules, and coordinate with vendors
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in custodial or maintenance work preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for Handyman)
