The Role
We are seeking skilled Cutter Operators and Maintenance Mechanics to join our dynamic team at Allied Printing Services, Inc. located in Manchester, CT.
Responsibilities
- Provides mechanical and electrical support to operators and supervisors
- Performs technical assistance and troubleshooting of complex print machinery and equipment
- Conducts preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and improve production equipment reliability
- Performs minor plant maintenance tasks such as replacing air conditioning filters, inspecting fire extinguishers, and performing light bulb replacements
- May perform larger scale maintenance tasks under the guidance of experienced maintenance personnel
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a print, manufacturing, or packaging environment
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and troubleshooting expertise across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Forklift certification or experience required
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including electrical schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and work orders
- Mathematical ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Physical requirements include walking, standing, lifting up to 500-750 lbs., frequent bending, reaching, and handling of materials
Qualifications

Competitive salary commensurate with experience
Schedule
Full-time positions available with shifts from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM and 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
