Maintenance Mechanic ($3,500 Sign On Bonus)-1

Responsibilities

• Ensure food safety/quality policies are followed.
• Report all food safety/quality problems to appropriate personnel.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Work safely and report all unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
• Maintain a safe and wholesome production environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience in manufacturing, preferably in a similar environment.
• Knowledge of machines, tools, their designs, uses, and repairs.
• Ability to read and understand written information and ideas.
• Welding skills (MIG, TIG, ARC, Oxy/acetylene).
• Knowledge of 3-phase electrical systems and distribution.
• Knowledge of power transmission and pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems including chain, gear drives, gearboxes, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical safety practices.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and respond to emergency calls during off shifts.
• Skills in troubleshooting power and control circuits, AC, DC, and servo-meters.
• Experience in installing and programming Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and process instrumentation.
• Ability to use computers, digital multimeters, meggers, loop calibrators, amp probes, and circuit tracers.
• Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, including ladder logic.

Qualifications

Manufacturing experience.

Forklift and aerial lift experience.

Skills

Welding (MIG, TIG, ARC, Oxy/acetylene).

Electrical systems knowledge (3-phase, power transmission, pneumatic systems).

Mechanical systems knowledge (chain, gear drives, gearboxes, pneumatics, hydraulics).

Computer skills.

Reading and understanding technical documents.

Pay

Base Pay Range: $22.21 - $37.01.

Final base pay will be determined based on role responsibilities, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and internal pay equity.
