Maintenance Mechanic 1

Responsibilities

• Supports the hospital's Christian mission and philosophy.
• Examines machinery or mechanical equipment and identifies reason for malfunction.
• Examines mechanical equipment to diagnose problems.
• Uses hand tools, power tools and testing instruments for repairs and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance, repair or replacement of broken parts.
• Adjusts functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary.
• Cleans and lubricates parts.
• Orders replacement parts.
• Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience in commercial maintenance is preferred.
• Three years of experience in electrical, plumbing or HVAC skills are preferred.
