The facility utilizes unique equipment during the manufacturing process, demanding a highly skilled Maintenance Department for safe, efficient, and reliable equipment operation. Our team is composed of multi-disciplinary individuals who design, install, maintain, and troubleshoot systems ranging from pneumatic to electrical and computer control systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on all facility and process-related equipment, including make-up air units (MAU), natural gas-fired generators, oil/water separators, cooling water towers, vacuum pumps, air compressors, variable frequency drives, boilers, steam systems, and associated equipment.
• Analyze and repair malfunctioning equipment or systems (mechanical, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical).
• Adhere to all engineering instructions, standard operating procedures, and departmental procedures.
• Observe and follow environmental, health, and safety procedures.
• Represent Collins Aerospace’s company vision and support the management team.
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed and consistently implemented.
• Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and maintain familiarity with Distributive Control Systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Perform water treatment analysis and take corrective action.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Operate equipment and tools, including:
  • Forklift
  • 3-ton and 5-ton Cranes
  • Hand tools
  • Power tools
  • Digital Multimeter
  • Precision alignment tools

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience in a maintenance or other mechanical-focused role.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Background in electrical systems troubleshooting and repair.
• 1 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and creativity to develop practical solutions.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Good interpersonal skills.

Schedule

• Rotating 4-on/4-off shift structure, equating to 6 months off every year.
• Rotating day/night shift every 2 months.
• 12-hour shifts: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM / 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM.

Pay

The hourly rate for this role is $22.00/hour USD.
