Maintenance Mech Plumber II - Facility Ops (Full Time) - 8060

About the role

The Plumber II, under the supervision of the Director of Facility Operations, Maintenance Manager or designee, performs duties relevant to, but not limited to, the installation of plumbing systems and equipment. The Plumber shall also perform routine and preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to the steam, medical air, oxygen, heating, cooling and drain piping and equipment in the Medical Center or the Medical Center properties. The Plumber shall be a resource person for other staff and outside vendors.

Responsibilities

• Install plumbing systems and equipment
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on steam, medical air, oxygen, heating, cooling and drain piping and equipment
• Provide technical support to other staff and outside vendors

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid State of California Driver’s License
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience
• Must possess a valid California Plumbing License

Qualifications

• Knowledge of plumbing codes and standards
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Skills

• Proficient in using hand and power tools
• Skilled in diagnosing and repairing plumbing issues
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
