About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance department. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a full range of manufacturing maintenance assignments using independent judgement to make decisions requiring the application of procedures and practices to specific work situations. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining heavy machinery.
Responsibilities
- Industrial mechanical, pipe fitting, and hydraulic repairs
- Rigging, aligning machines and belt and pulley drives
- Fork Truck maintenance
- Troubleshooting and repairing all types of equipment and machinery
- Reading blue prints and schematics
- Welding and electrical work
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Must have prior manufacturing maintenance experience. Welding experience highly desired, but not required. Electrical experience highly desired, but not required. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills required. Must be self-motivated and have great communication skills. Must be able to read blue prints and schematics. Ability to work efficiently and effectively with little supervision required. Must be able and willing to obtain various licenses/certifications in order to work in certain areas or on certain equipment (fork lift, aerial, rigging, skid steer, battery, etc).
Qualifications
Prior manufacturing maintenance experience is required. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are also required.
