Duties And Responsibilities
- Diagnoses malfunctions and performs vehicle repairs (e.g. adjust/test steering, electrical, cooling, lubricating, braking systems, drive trains, suspensions, power steering units, clutches, transmissions and oil, temperature, gas regulating components)
- Perform related assigned duties within qualification level, in accordance with all relevant Federal, State/Provincial and local guidelines and requirements
- Oversee and comply with local WeDriveU maintenance and safety SOPs, locally applicable public authority legislation, regulation and standards, ensuring that maintenance staff follow them
- Utilize and supervise the local use of WeDriveU EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) ERP application, and maintenance facility staff to record and to track local maintenance work orders and parts inventory
- Manage preventive maintenance and “unscheduled” repairs for the vehicles serviced by this facility
- Represent the maintenance activity at the local level in its interaction, communication and coordination of activities with other local operations functions: driver care, route operations, and customer care
- Supervise the maintenance staff
Skills Required
- Experience with compliance with the local applicable DOT compliance of Med / Heavy Trucks
- Prioritize ASE Certification as a Master Automotive Technician and/or a Master Truck Technician
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel
- Robust electronic filing, documentation tracking and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and consistent formatting
- Self-Motivated and driven problem solver
- Multiple years’ experience in transportation, encourage passenger transportation history
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Work experience with mechanical background and aptitude

Education And Qualifications
- Hard requirements: 5 years’ experience with fleet management company, Diesel Engine Repair experience, 5 years of Cummins Engine Repair, Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Finance, Logistics, and/or Transportation
- Preferred Requirements: CDL not required but preferred
