Maintenance Manager - Engineering (Industrial and Plant)

About the Role

Under limited supervision, manages maintenance employees and oversees repairs, equipment installation, and preventative building and equipment maintenance in a refrigerated food manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities

• Manages maintenance employees and oversees automated technology.
• Troubleshoots problems with Human-Machine Interface and Programmable Logic Controllers.
• Maintains employee relations and evaluates job performance.
• Conducts preventative maintenance and follow-through.
• Makes repairs using a Business Planning and Control System.
• Follows company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Regular attendance and punctuality is required due to working with people, items, and equipment that are at the facility.

Requirements

• 10+ years maintenance experience is required.
• Electrical mechanical experience is preferred.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Training experience is preferred.
• English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.

Working Conditions

• Refrigerated food manufacturing plant environment; may be wet or dry with temperatures ranging from 25°F to 110°F.
• Frequent exposure to hazardous materials and conditions.
• Occasional lifting, kneeling, and bending with items in excess of 100 lbs required.
• Travel 5% of the time.
• Production demands may require evening or weekend scheduling.
