Maintenance Manager

As the Maintenance Service Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall operation of the maintenance department and the appearance and working order of the apartment community.

Responsibilities

• Daily supervision of Maintenance staff members including delegation of work orders, special projects, and time management techniques
• Inspection and oversight of existing and completed work orders
• Handle HVAC, Boiler, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and all other service requests
• Mentoring and training new and existing maintenance staff members
• Involvement with interviewing and selection of new maintenance team members
• Provide written monthly energy management recommendations for the building
• Identify capital improvements and obtain required estimates/bids
• Assist in budget preparation for maintenance expenses

Requirements

• Experience in a hotel, apartment, or hospital maintenance/engineering with 2 years supervisory experience leading a team
• Experience with gas furnaces and gas appliances is required
• Excellent customer service and computer skills
• Ability to create, mentor, and train a team
• Extensive knowledge of plumbing systems, appliances, water heaters, chillers/boilers, and HVAC
• HVAC or EPA Universal Certification is required
• Proven track record managing a preventative maintenance program and experience with capital projects

Pay

Salary ranges from $60,400 to $68,200 plus quarterly bonus.
