Maintenance Manager

Position Summary

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading plant maintenance operations to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective performance of all plant assets and equipment. This role oversees maintenance personnel and contractors while supporting productivity, reliability, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance, electrical, and engineering activities to support operational and long-term business objectives.
• Direct equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, outages, and reliability improvement efforts.
• Develop and manage maintenance and capital budgets, KPIs, and maintenance processes.
• Promote a proactive maintenance and asset reliability culture.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop maintenance personnel, including mechanics and electricians.
• Manage contractors and coordinate cross-functional communication with operations and plant leadership.
• Ensure compliance with EH&S standards, regulatory requirements, and safe work practices.
• Support continuous improvement, cost optimization, and plant productivity initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5–10 years of maintenance leadership experience in mining, heavy industrial, manufacturing, cement, lime, or minerals processing operations.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, PLC, conveyor, crushing, and heavy equipment systems.
• Experience with reliability programs, preventive maintenance, budgeting, and project management.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
