About the role
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of hydraulic electrical equipment used in manufacturing blow-molded bottles and containers. Key responsibilities include managing a team, leading maintenance programs, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring compliance with corporate standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of mechanical & electrical personnel in executing safe and effective maintenance procedures
- Lead maintenance activities to minimize machine downtime
- Repair or rebuild equipment as needed to prevent breakdowns, ensuring safety and documentation
- Train maintenance team members and develop their skills
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment problems
- Manage spare parts inventory
- Comply with corporate standards and regulatory requirements
- Set goals and objectives for the maintenance department aligned with plant and business goals
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained to meet production schedules and quality standards
- Improve equipment availability and advance preventative and predictive maintenance programs
- Optimize the use of maintenance technicians and equipment through planning and scheduling
- Initiate and drive improvements through training programs, capital projects, and other means
- Analyze maintenance problems and implement corrective action plans
- Maintain parts inventory system to control and ensure proper levels of spare parts
- Evaluate employee performance to identify training needs and development opportunities
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a plant-wide Maintenance Manager
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering discipline
- Injection molding or foaming experience preferred
- PLC experience a plus

Pay
$104,500.00 - $130,100.00
