Maintenance Manager

About the role

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of hydraulic electrical equipment used in manufacturing blow-molded bottles and containers. Key responsibilities include managing a team, leading maintenance programs, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring compliance with corporate standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of mechanical & electrical personnel in executing safe and effective maintenance procedures
• Lead maintenance activities to minimize machine downtime
• Repair or rebuild equipment as needed to prevent breakdowns, ensuring safety and documentation
• Train maintenance team members and develop their skills
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment problems
• Manage spare parts inventory
• Comply with corporate standards and regulatory requirements
• Set goals and objectives for the maintenance department aligned with plant and business goals
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained to meet production schedules and quality standards
• Improve equipment availability and advance preventative and predictive maintenance programs
• Optimize the use of maintenance technicians and equipment through planning and scheduling
• Initiate and drive improvements through training programs, capital projects, and other means
• Analyze maintenance problems and implement corrective action plans
• Maintain parts inventory system to control and ensure proper levels of spare parts
• Evaluate employee performance to identify training needs and development opportunities

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a plant-wide Maintenance Manager
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering discipline
• Injection molding or foaming experience preferred
• PLC experience a plus

Pay

$104,500.00 - $130,100.00
