Maintenance Machine Repair Technician

Position Description

Title: Maintenance Mach Repair Tech 1
Department: Maintenance
Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor
Status: Non-Exempt Hourly

Position Purpose

Responsible for installation, troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, and rebuild of all plant pump systems, air and hydraulic systems, and machines.
Involved with modifying and improving existing equipment.
Train and pass along knowledge to other employees.
Assist production with maintaining a high level of equipment uptime.

Essential Skills And Experience

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Machine Repair, Millwright, Machine Builder or related skilled trade and/or a minimum of two years of relevant work experience in one of the previously referenced trades
• Demonstrated working knowledge in the following areas: Hydraulics, pneumatics, and various hand tools.
• General Maintenance knowledge
