Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete all Maintenance Technician I and II jobs and tasks including, but not limited to: required paperwork, battery maintenance, general housekeeping and maintenance, troubleshooting, electrical work, welding, equipment maintenance, and other preventative maintenance tasks.
- Hazmat responsibilities
- REFRIGERATION EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- RETA1, RETA2 ENGINE ROOM FUNTIONS AND PREVENTITIVE MAINTENANCE
- Electrical systems maintenance
- Lead, plan, schedule, operate, maintain, and repair the refrigeration system
- Aid the Chief Engineer with projects when asked
- Conduct daily inspections to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the facilities refrigeration system
- Assist in execution of PSM Program
- Emergency response training
- Conduct troubleshooting on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
- Interpret and utilize electrical ladder diagrams
- Capable of leading a team
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Continuing education in RETA and or other industry specific courses strongly preferred
- Highly skilled in building and equipment maintenance
- Proficient electrical knowledge
- Maintenance troubleshooting
- Proficient welding knowledge
- HAZMAT trained
- Highly skilled in all aspects of refrigeration
- Understanding of electrical ladder diagrams
- Capable of leading a team and working independently with limited direction
