Maintenance Lead

Responsibilities

• Operate, start up, shut down, and change over production equipment
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and identify root causes to prevent repeat downtime
• Own and execute the preventative maintenance schedule across all production and warehouse equipment
• Work on electrical systems including VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, potentiometers, e-stops, thermal and magnetic overload protection
• Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic systems - regulators, actuators, solenoids, 4-way manifolds, needle valves, and associated hardware
• Track equipment performance data, manage spare parts inventory, and coordinate outside vendors and contractors
• Inspect and oversee contractor work on-site; support cross-department needs in production, QA, R&D, and sales
• Help train new line operators and cross-train existing production staff when needed
• Operate electric tow motors, pallet jacks, and scissor lifts safely and as required

Requirements

• 2-4 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience, or equivalent combination of schooling and work
• Working knowledge of pneumatic, electrical, and steam systems and their components
• Experience with liquid pumps (positive displacement and centrifugal), electric motors, and gearboxes
• Familiarity with GMP, SSOP, Lock Out/Tag Out, and FDA/USDA compliance requirements
• Self-starter who can manage their own workload, communicate clearly, and hold themselves accountable
• Comfortable lifting 50 lbs regularly; able to handle up to 80 lbs when needed

Qualifications

Preferably holds a relevant degree or certification in industrial maintenance or a related field.

Skills

Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail are essential.
