Maintenance & Kennel Attendant

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and minor repairs throughout the hospital, including plumbing, electrical, painting, and fixture repairs.
• Clean and maintain the facility, including floors, restrooms, equipment, and common areas, using approved cleaning products and safe chemical handling practices.
• Maintain the hospital grounds, including weeding, watering, snow removal touch-ups, and general exterior upkeep.
• Complete daily maintenance walkthroughs and identify maintenance or repair needs.
• Clock in and out patients, ensuring proper labeling and ID collars.
• Identify and alleviate stress in boarding animals through interactive play and mental stimulation.

Schedule

This is a part time position. Typical shifts are 4:00 PM–9:00 PM, three days per week, with weekend availability as needed from 1:00 PM–4:00 PM.

Pay

Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour, determined by the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.
